The Department organizes all pharmaceutical technology courses at the graduate and postgraduate study programmes in Pharmacy at FPB i.e. Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, Drug Formulation, Magistral Formulation, Cosmetology, Innovative Drug Delivery Systems, Industrial Pharmacy. The research at the Department is focused on the development of innovative drug delivery systems, including the development of new technologies, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical characterization. The current research project carried out at the Department, in collaboration with the pharmaceutical industry, refers to the development and evaluation of in vitro and ex vivo models for the permeability testing of a topical ophthalmic formulation. Laboratories and offices of the Department are located in Domagojeva Street 2 (basement, mezzanine and the first floor).
