The Department provides teaching of courses at graduate level: Pharmaceutical Analysis, Analytics in Pharmaceutical Products Development and Quality Assurance and Registration of Drugs as well as Polymorphism of Pharmaceuticals in PhD programme (Pharmaceutical Biochemical Sciences) and seven courses in Postgraduate Specialist Studies. Scientific research is focused on development of novel electroanalytical, capillary electrophoresis and chromatographic methods for determination and impurity profiling of pharmaceuticals, design of nanosensors for drug analysis and optical sensors for heavy metal analysis as well as analysis of natural bioactive compounds. Offices and laboratories of the Department are located in Ante Kovačića 1 (2^nd floor).
