Department of Analytical Chemistry provides teaching at graduate level for both study groups (“Pharmacy” and “Medical Chemistry”) in obligate courses (Analytical chemistry 1, Analytical chemistry 2) and elective courses (Selected methods of instrumental analysis, History of pharmacy), and doctoral studies (Selected topics in bioanalytics). Scientific interests of the teachers are diverse, from development of new analytical methods of trace analyses in complex samples, through complex compounds of pharmaceutical importance and antitumour drugs of plant origin, by the use of modern analytical techniques, to the history of pharmacy.
