Profile

Sanja Dabelić, PhD, is Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She teaches graduate courses – Biological Chemistry (course leader), Complex Genetics (course leader), Modern Biochemical Techniques (course co-leader), Molecular Biology with Genetic Engineering, Analytical Biochemistry, Physical Biochemistry, postgraduate doctoral study courses Glycobiology and Gene Expression Analysis as well as postgraduate specialist study courses DNA sequence analysis and Molecular diagnostics. Her scientific interests include glycobiological aspects of cell communication and adaptation, biological roles of glycosylation, genetic basis of diseases and biochemical and molecular changes associated with stress and apoptosis.
