Profile

Branka Zorc, PhD is a full professor tenure at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. She teaches Medicinal Chemistry 2 and Drug Metabolism and participates in teaching of Medicinal Chemistry 1 (graduate level), Therapeutic Application of Biomacromolecules (Postgraduate doctoral study) and Dermatics (Postgraduate study Dermatopharmacy and Cosmetology). Her scientific interests include synthesis of primaquine and sorafenib derivatives as potential antitumor drugs, sythesis of polymer-drug conjugates, prodrugs and hydroxamic acids.
