Department of Food Chemistry organizes several courses at the graduate level (Study of Pharmacy and Medicinal biochemistry): Physiological and biochemical aspects of nutrition, Nutrition biochemistry, Nutrition therapy (held both in Croatian and English), and Health Ecology. It also participates in number of courses at PhD level and Postgraduate Specialist Studies. Department’s scientific activities are mainly focused on biochemical and nutritive research and development of associated methodology. Department’s offices, laboratory for staff, and laboratory for students are situated on the 1st floor of the Faculty building in Domagojeva 2.
