Profile

Mario Jug, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology. He is teaching graduate courses Drug Formulation, Extemporaneous Compounding (co-leader) and Innovative Drugs Delivery Systems (collaborator). He is one of the coordinators at modules 4.1. (Pharmaceutical technological operations) and 4.2. (Drug delivery systems) at Postgraduate Ph.D. study Pharmacy and biochemistry. He teaches several courses at postgraduate specialist studies Dermatopharmacy and cosmetology and Drug development. His scientific interests include the development of cyclodextrin based drug delivery systems as well as the application of novel procedures for extractions of biologically active compounds from plant materials.
