Profile

Mirza Bojić, PhD is an associate professor at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry. He is a program director of the graduate program Toxicity, and course director of Biochemical Basis of Toxicity of Xenobiotics and Endobiotics, as well as Drug Biochemistry. In the past, he taught Medicinal Chemistry 1, Drug Metabolism, OTC Drugs, Vitamins and Minerals in Metabolic Reactions, Molecular Modeling, Metabolism and Toxicity of Drugs. His scientific interests include analysis of biologically active compounds, their metabolism and QSAR.

Collaborator on projects financed by European Union (2013-2014 IPA 040417, 2013-2015 ESF 3.102), NIH, USA (2014 NIH DK038226), Ministry of Science, Croatia (2007-2013 0061117-1237) and University of Zagreb (2013-2014).
