School of Bioinformatics for Postdocs and PhD students will be held at Mediterranean institute for life sciences - MedILS, Split in period 11th – 15th May 2020.

During the course you will learn about the latest advances in genomics and most commonly used bioinformatics tools and methods, which became an essential part of cutting-edge research in biology.

• Learn how to search public data repositories, obtain biological data sets relevant to their research and efficiently analyze them using the tools available through the web-based Galaxy platform.

• Get familiarized with the most common misuses of statistics in research and learn how to perform statistically sound analysis of their results.

• Use the opportunity to reinforce the analysis concepts they learned and work on practical examples, focusing on RNA-seq data analysis
